About
Hi, I'm Paula
and I love to build and imagine the future.
I look at the world with a problem-solver’s
lens, noticing gaps,
inefficiencies, and opportunities. Early in my career, I’m experimenting across industries,
meeting diverse people, and learning by building.
I genuinely believe in the power of technology to improve our lives.
Currently looking for my next adventure, an ambitious and impactful place that pushes me to grow and contribute at a higher level.
Education & Background
-
I studied Computer Science at one of Romania’s top universities, Babes-Bolyai University in
Cluj-Napoca, Romania (Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science) between 2020 and 2023. Focused on
applying strong foundations in software engineering and AI to build reliable and scalable software
systems.
- During this period, I strengthened my technical skills and completed 2 internships in software development, one at a local company in the summer of 2021 and another at a large corporation in the summer of 2022, where I'm currently working on mobility and automotive solutions, specifically on software, but also gaining occasional exposure to the hardware side.
- Between 2023 and 2025, I completed the master’s degree in Distributed Systems at the same university, where I studied topics such as distributed algorithms, cloud computing, web services and middleware technologies, GPU architectures and parallel computing.
- Began exploring entrepreneurship early by joining hackathons and extracurricular programs focused on problem-solving, innovation, and learning from the founders of the local and national startup ecosystem.

Personal interests
I love running. I completed my first 10K this year, and my next goal is a half-marathon. I also enjoy traveling and discovering places very different from home; India has been the most transformative destination so far. I’m also a regular blood donor, something I care about deeply as a small way to contribute to the wellbeing of others.
